Apples and Berries

I loved Berry in the 'Call of the Cutie' episode. She's one of my favorite recurring background characters. She was also very interesting to watch, having two scenes with her in it as opposed to just one. (Seriously, who drinks straight out of a punch bowl when there are glasses right there?)

The upper two sketches of her were about a second apart, yet they seem very different when you look at them individually. I drew them mostly as an animation study.

Applejack and Apple Bloom were very entertaining to watch in that episode as well. Applejack's 'older sister' tone came through loud and clear, and Apple Bloom was just like every other 6-8 year old I know.
