~~It's not much, but I decided to sketch up Zoe & Gail Trent from this upcoming Saturday's episode, 'Gailbreak!'.~~

~~It was a lot harder than I expected with so few reference pictures of ~~Gail~~, but I think it turned out pretty well. We'll see how well come Saturday, I suppose!~~

...So. Turns out that 'Gail' in this particular sketch is in fact a male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Tootsie.

I can't believe I didn't follow my instinct on this one. I had a feeling that he was a guy because of the eyes from the first time I saw that clip, but I thought it was an animation error or something.

Should've followed my gut. Dang it!

Possibly. I went with the explanation that the interiors of the cages were sound-proofed, like they have in recording studios. With no reverberation, there wouldn't be enough sonic resonance to break paper, much less glass, much less plexiglass.

Besides, a bunch of howling, yapping, barking, hissing pets in a corporate-minded pet store 'day-camp' would be a nuisance to customers, why wouldn't they try to keep them as quiet as they could?
